What is GCYS?
GCYS stands for Global Citizens Youth Summit and is an event held by the non-profit organization, Global Citizens Initiative (GCI). The objective of this event is to foster young minds to develop ideas in contributing to the global society for the future.
The event is hosted in the United States, at the Harvard Faculty Club and unites high school students from around the world with keen minds who have the potential to play an active role in the global society. These students spend eight (8) days together and discuss and debate about what it means to be a “global citizen” through the Harkness Method*.
